From Sarah Palin’s interview with Esquire:
You have to let it go. Even hard news sources, credible news sources — the comment about, you can see Russia from Alaska. You can! You can see Russia from Alaska. Something like that — a factual statement that was taken out of context and mocked — what you have to do is let that go.
Um. That statement was mocked specifically because you put it in a really stupid context; it had nothing to do with foreign policy experience, which is what you were asked about. I could see the Chemical Engineering building from my dorm room window; why won’t they give me the Chem E. degree I clearly earned?
I can’t tell if Palin is intentionally trying to distort the events of the campaign so that she can play the victim, or if she’s just actually really stupid.
