Roland Burris accepted a Senate appointment from a heavily tainted governor. He did so with transactions on the books that tie him to said governor, and regardless of how innocent they may be, they’re suspicious by default thanks to taint by association.
On the other hand, Rod Blagojevich is pretty dumb. Like, as a box of rocks.
